Terms of use

These terms govern your use of fribble, including the website, daily puzzles, accounts, and optional archive subscription. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them.

The service

fribble publishes daily puzzle games. Most puzzles can be played once per UTC day. Features, games, and scoring rules may change as we add or retire titles.

Accounts

You are responsible for the email and password you use to sign in, and for activity on your account. Do not share credentials or use someone else’s account. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is abusive, automated, or used to cheat or disrupt the service.

Leaderboards

When you play, you appear on fribble leaderboards. Other players can see your display name, game avatar (your pal, including colors, face, and accessories), rank, and scores. Choose a display name and avatar you are comfortable sharing; do not impersonate others or use abusive names or avatars.

Acceptable use

fribble is a casual puzzle site, not gambling. Do not scrape puzzles at scale, attack the service, impersonate other people, or use the games in a way that breaks the law. Automated play that harms other players or our infrastructure is not allowed.

Subscriptions

A paid subscription may unlock previous days’ puzzles (the archive). Billing is handled by Stripe. Prices, taxes, and renewal terms are shown at checkout. You can manage or cancel through the customer portal linked from your account. Canceling ends access immediately and stops future renewals; it does not usually refund the current period unless required by law.

Intellectual property

The fribble name, mark, site design, and puzzle content are ours or our licensors’. You may play for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy the catalogue, redistribute daily answers, or reuse our branding without permission.

Availability

We try to publish each day’s puzzles on time, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect generation, or that every game will be available every day.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of fribble.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date below will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
